The transmission shaft is mainly composed of the following key parts:

Shaft tube: The shaft tube is the body of the transmission shaft and is made of high-strength steel or aluminum alloy to withstand the torque and bending torque generated during the transmission process. The inside of the tube is usually hollow to reduce weight and facilitate the placement of other components.

Telescopic sleeve (telescopic spline): The telescopic sleeve is located at both ends of the transmission shaft and is used to compensate for the length change caused by vibration and temperature changes during the driving of the car. It is sliding to the shaft tube by a spline, allowing length adjustment within a certain range.

Universal joint: A universal joint is an important part that connects the propeller shaft to the transmission or drive axle, allowing for angular changes between the two while transmitting torque. Common types of universal joints include ball cage type, three-pronged type, etc., which have different structural characteristics and application ranges.

Bearings and seals: bearings are used to support the rotational motion of the transmission shaft and reduce frictional resistance; Seals are used to prevent oil leakage and dust from entering the inside of the drive shaft.
