When our transmission shaft is loose, we first have to detect whether the splined shaft has irreparable hard damage such as twisted deformation. The transmission shaft is a high-speed less supporting object, if the transmission shaft is loose, twisted and deformed is not detected and repaired in time, it can be dealt with in the daily driving state, once it needs to be greatly adjusted the wheelbase, it is very likely that the twisted shaft body can not be effectively telescopic and adjusted and causes the damage of the universal joint structure, and the serious may even cause the damage of the entire transmission shaft, and the gains outweigh the losses. Hard injuries such as twisting and deformation must be removed from the car and disassembled for a complete internal inspection to be truly detected, and only a simple observation from the outside can sometimes be easily ignored.
In the event of loosening or even daily inspection and maintenance, we need to pay attention to the detection of universal joint cross shafts. You may ask, why do you say that? Because the cross shaft is the absolute main body in the whole universal joint structure. Without the cross shaft, the universal transmission would not be possible. Among them, the bearing needle roller in the structure is a very easily damaged component, often under the strong impact of the consequences of fracture or even crushing, we should regularly check and maintain the cross shaft after a long time or extreme driving, to see if there is damage to need to be replaced.
When the propeller shaft is loose or even falls off, it will also cause some abnormal noise, such as the upper lift will be found after inspection, and there is a huge gap in the output cross shaft of the four-wheel drive system. This abnormal sound is sometimes reflected in the car start, the chassis flutters obviously, and the obvious sound of collision between parts is heard, which is undoubtedly caused by the falling off of the transmission shaft parts of the car. There are several reasons for this.
1. The high-speed operation of the transmission shaft will produce a certain vibration, which may cause the anchor bolts of the flange to fall off.
2. The spline and the spline sleeve are draggable structures, which are easy to produce uniform damage inside and outside after long-term use, resulting in falling off.
3. For a long time, the cross shaft shaft and cylindrical roller bearings have not been moistened and maintained, resulting in serious damage, and the spacing between the parts is too large, resulting in loosening.
If it is other flanges that fall off, you can test whether the transmission shaft falls off by checking the upper and lower left and right and the orientation of the center of the circle, if the problem is found, it should be tightened in time or the damaged parts should be replaced, but it is not recommended that you do it yourself, it is best to entrust a professional transmission shaft production and maintenance organization to repair. It should be noted that during maintenance, the position of the transmission shaft to be moistened should be moistened, so as to prolong the service life of the transmission shaft.
