The Lifan x60 is equipped with the LFB479Q engine model independently developed by Lifan Engine Company. The maximum power of this engine is 98 kW, capable of producing a maximum torque of 168 Nm and a maximum horsepower of 133.
For engine maintenance, there are several suggestions:
1. Choosing the appropriate quality grade of lubricating oil is crucial. Gasoline engines should use SD-SF grade gasoline engine oil, while diesel engines should choose CB-CD grade diesel engine oil based on mechanical load. The selection standard should not be lower than the requirements specified by the manufacturer.
2. Regular oil and filter replacement is also essential. Any quality level of lubricating oil will undergo changes in its quality during use. Therefore, in order to avoid malfunctions, it is necessary to regularly change the oil according to the usage conditions and ensure that the oil quantity is moderate.
3. Maintaining the cleanliness of the filter is equally important. When the oil passes through the fine holes of the filter, it will accumulate solid particles and viscous substances in the oil in the filter. If the filter is clogged and the oil cannot pass through the filter element, it will burst the filter element or open the safety valve, passing through the bypass valve. This will bring dirt back to the lubrication area, exacerbating engine wear and internal pollution.
4. Furthermore, regular cleaning of the crankcase is also an important maintenance measure. During the operation of the engine, high-pressure unburned gases, acids, moisture, sulfur, and nitrogen oxides in the combustion chamber will enter the crankcase and mix with the metal powder produced by component wear, forming sludge. This not only clogs the filter and oil holes, but also causes difficulty in engine lubrication, leading to wear.
5. Regular use of water tank cleaning agents to clean the water tank is also necessary. This can remove rust and scale from it, ensure normal engine operation, and extend the overall lifespan of the water tank and engine.
